I’ve just launched a Patreon page where you can sponsor my transhumanist fiction and non-fiction writing work. I’ve been interested in crowdfunding models for a while, but I wasn’t sure that the one-off, all-or-nothing nature of a crowdfunding campaign would be right for my work. That’s not the way I do things. So when I heard about about patreon.com from fellow author the delightful Monica Byrne, whom I met on a filming assignment here in Skye earlier this year, the ongoing nature of its funding model piqued my interest.

So here we are. I’m giving it a blast to see if there are persons out there interested enough in my transhumanist writing to fund it directly. You can get all the details at patreon.com/djmaclennan and for the quick summary I’ve embedded my introductory video below.
